Have you ever wondered why doesn't Firefox create a namespace icon on the desktop like Internet Explorer does? The one on which you can right click and reach for Internet Options, profiles etc. as with the one for Internet Explorer? Well, here is something that I built today.

This is just meant for windows desktops. It will detect the location of Firefox installation directory and create a nice and clean shortcut on the desktop for you. You can right click this shortcut and

  • Open Firefox
  • Open Firefox in safe mode
  • Open Firefox options
  • Open Firefox profile manager

You can create more shortcuts from this shortcut and even rename or delete it (why would you do that…?). Get it here.
