I just happened to surf by the Firefox Add-ons site and came across a pleasant surprise. The site has undergone a major overhaul and redesign. It's more Web2.0ish with a huge search bar right across the top.

AMO The extension is showcased in a container almost in the center but not quite. The new version lists more reviews on the front so that casual visitors will not have to travel an extra level of site depth. At the bottom is the 'advanced details' heading which is collapsed by default. On expanding it you see the developers' comments and the version details along with the homepage URL of the developer. Clearly the design displays a higher level of usability and ease of use. Rating an add-on is easier and the small box is located on the upper right side of the site. Overall its an impressive design while being user-friendly. What do you have to say about it?
