Share your favourite post from your blog

How many of you have a blog? Today I invite you to share your most popular or favorite post. Go into your blog’s archive and take your pick. If there was a post that clicked, provide a link here. If there was a post you worked very hard upon but didn’t get the exposure, link it here.

I have been in the process of composing a 10 part series on power blogging - something that can in the true sense change the paradigm of blogging. And I want this to be a prelude, a preface to the series.

As you share your posts, I’d also like you to share your views about your pick. Here are a few points you may want to talk about.

  • What is special about this post?
  • Tell us how you got the idea to write this post. Was it an accidental vision that you had? Or had you been planning this for long?
  • Why do you consider it your pick? Why did it click or didn’t?

Pour your heart out. we are all ears ;)

If you enjoyed this post, then make sure you subscribe to the RSS Feed. If not let us know how we can improve.

My favorite post to write was actually cooked up in an email to another Personal Finance blogger - he was new and wondered how to get his name out there. I enjoyed it because it was outside of my normal writing setup, so I enjoyed the change of pace -

I started it out in email and had about 4 or 5 tips for him, but then it just ballooned and I figured that others would get some good use out of it and coincidentally, even though I blog about personal finance, this post still gets a lot of traffic -

My favorite post so far is about making money with current events. I’ve been experimenting with these methods for a while now, and I’ve had a good degree of success. I think it’s one of my better posts because it’s a very unique article. Most of the ideas in there haven’t been discussed (heavily) anywhere else, so hopefully I can propel somebody into a big money-making niche.

A favorite recent post was on I wrote about whether we are in a recession and the challenges the Fed has. It was a subject I had been thinking about as the state of our economy hasn’t been great lately. I was amazed to see the quick response the article got. I think the responses come from the fact that thjis is an issue that has been on many people’s minds lately.

My favorite blog post is called “Your Wealth is Only One Idea Away” because it’s something I really wanted to write about for a long time. I mostly wanted to write about it because I get such varied reactions when I talk about it in person. Most people object to it until they let me explain it to them. People put wealth/money on such a high pedestal that they fail to realize that it is only a tool, tho a really great tool.

Thanks Frank. Yup, money is a tool at the best; a powerful one at that.

I believe that as long as people idolize money as much as they do it will never seem to come to them. Lower the pedestal that money sets on to a lower level and people will discover that it is not near as hard to get it as they think it is. You are right that it is a powerful tool and I say send me more of it. LOL
