Well so they released the RC3 so what? Ok here it is. Till now there was no definite answer when people questioned about Firefox release date. But now there may be one. One of the news posts at Mozilla Developer came up with the announcement. With all the community set awaiting for the final for long we are finally expecting Firefox 3 to be released on Tuesday, June 17th.
All this comes after a development for 34 months, a lot of addon and various campaigns and a series of betas and release candidates. Tuesday is always a good day for lot of web traffic. And it remains to see how many download records will be broken.
And while you have a few days to enjoy the Firefox 3 release candidate 3, do you really want to upgrade to a release candidate with the final release just around the corner? Why?

Since RC3 only affects MacOS X builds, apparently, there really isn't any point worrying about RC3 too much, certainly not from your optimised builds pov, as for the extensions, I don't know if you specified RC2 as the latest supported, or went for the 'anything up to 3.0' approach.
Hi there,
I was wondering if your colourfultabs application would be able to make the tab colour based on the colour of the favicon?
)
Same as chromatabs under FFox 2 (now discontinued!
I would really appreciate it, thanks for your great work
